Beekeepers from Bitlis are Preparing to Move to the Highlands as the Weather Warms Up

Beekeepers in the Hizan district of Bitlis are getting ready to head to the high-altitude plateaus with rich vegetation as the weather warms up. Beekeepers who returned to the district from the Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia regions in the fall are now in a rush to move to the plateaus. Beekeepers who spend the summer in the plateaus with abundant flora are taking care of their bees and hives before the journey. Waiting for the snow cover in the higher areas to melt, beekeepers aim to contribute to the economy by selling the high-proline honey they will produce.
