Supplementary Feed for Bees Not in Hibernation

Bees that do not hibernate and consume their own food in the hives at the Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Education, Practice and Research Farm are being fed with supplementary foods such as fondant and syrup. Dr. Sedat Sevin, the Responsible of the Bee Unit, stated, "The important thing is to keep the colony strong and ensure it survives the winter. If we cannot do this, there will be serious colony losses."
