Beekeeping Efforts in Kırklareli

Mürvet Gürses is diligently caring for her bees to produce high-quality honey while engaging in swarm collection efforts. Beekeepers in Kırklareli, who meticulously tend to their bees to obtain quality honey, continue their "swarm collection" activities. Mürvet Gürses, a 63-year-old beekeeper who has been practicing beekeeping in the hives inherited from her father-in-law in the garden of her home in the village of Kuştepe in the Pehlivanköy district for 30 years, is preparing for the honey season while also gathering her bees that form colonies in different areas. Gürses places the beehives she has prepared under the tree branches where the bees cluster, encouraging the bees to enter these hives.
