Beekeepers protest against fraudulent honeys: “Manufactured syrups are not honey”

Hundreds of beekeepers from Spain, Portugal, and France took to the streets today to denounce the constant influx of fraudulent honeys into the European market. In Madrid, called by the COAG union, they raised their voices to demand more controls from the authorities regarding fake honeys. Tired of seeing their honeys remain unsold in warehouses, Spanish beekeepers have once again taken to the streets in a demonstration organized by the agricultural union COAG.
