Organic Honey Harvest Held in Pervari

An organic wild honey harvest was carried out in the Pervari district of Siirt, and production is increasing. The Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Mustafa Şanverdi, who participated in the honey harvest held in Pervari, stated that Pervari wild honey received a geographical indication in 2004 and is produced completely naturally, without any additives, in an organic manner. He said, "Beekeeping and honey production have become synonymous with Siirt. Especially under the scope of a Terror-Free Turkey, the new roads we will open in these mountains will significantly contribute to honey production."
