The geographical indication registration of Zara honey has delighted beekeepers

Honey producers in the Zara district of Sivas are celebrating the geographical indication registration of Zara honey.

The Zara Agricultural Chamber applied to the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office about 1.5 years ago for the geographical indication registration certificate for Zara honey, which has a unique taste and aroma.

The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office evaluated the application and granted the geographical indication registration certificate for Zara honey last month.
