Favorable weather has encouraged beekeepers in Bingöl

Due to the favorable weather conditions this year, an increase in yield is expected for Bingöl honey, which has reached the final stage of the European Union (EU) geographical indication registration process.

Last year, producers in Bingöl experienced a decrease in honey production due to climatic changes, but this year, the mild and rainy weather conditions have given them hope.

If the temperature and rainfall remain at the expected levels in May and June, producers anticipate an increase in yield this year.
