Dilektaşı (Manîs) village, which is affiliated with Yüksekova, was known for small livestock farming for many years. However, the recent drought and the decreasing water resources have created a profound change in the village's economic structure. Now, the vast majority of the 90 households in the village earn their livelihood from beekeeping.

As a reflection of this change, the 2025 honey harvest in the village was celebrated with a lively event. While products such as strained honey, comb honey, and pollen were displayed at the stands set up in the village square, guests were informed about the stages of beekeeping.
