Emine and Osman İbili, a couple from the İmamoğlu district of Adana, have been beekeeping for 22 years. After years of beekeeping in different regions of Turkey, the couple, who have spent the summer months in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari in recent years, have reached the town of Büyükçiftlik this year as well.

Emine İbili stated that they have been beekeeping with her husband for many years, saying, “I have been beekeeping with my husband for 22 years. We used to go to Bingöl and Muş. In recent years, we come to Yüksekova during this season. We arrived today. We are currently setting up our shelter. Our bees are on the way. The people here are very nice.”
