Due to chaos caused by bees in Iğdır, 400 sheep perished. The flock of sheep, which was to be taken to the pasture, was attacked by bees while passing through an area with beehives. In a panic, the flock fell into an irrigation canal while trying to escape. According to initial assessments, 400 sheep died from crushing and drowning. In a statement regarding the incident, it was said, "The flock was going to the mountain. They entered the beehives here. They turned around as if they were hit by hail and died crushed and drowned."

According to the information obtained, approximately 4,000 small ruminants belonging to Çetin Naral, who set out to go to the pasture, were attacked by bees while passing through an area with about 200 beehives between the villages of Hakmehmet and Ağaver.
