Persistent Threats to Beekeepers and Pollinators

In the face of unpredictable spring weather, the persistence of the Asian hornet and varroa, as well as a political context marked by setbacks in the protection of pollinators, the UNAF has intensified its efforts on these fronts. Starting in January, it joined the agricultural mobilization to denounce the unfair competition from low-priced imported honeys and called for exceptional aid. At the same time, awareness and training actions, particularly through webinars on combating the hornet, queen rearing, and royal jelly production, have successfully expanded.
