Honey Bees in Graz – Small Heroes of a Great Urban Nature

Essential for Diversity, Floral Richness, and a Vibrant Ecosystem

The green spaces of Graz, with their variety of species and structures, provide ideal living conditions for bees - both honey bees and wild bees. Their pollination services are indispensable and form the foundation for the preservation of our native plant life.

With the project “Graz City Bees", the city of Graz, together with the Nature Experience Park, is making an important impact: Awareness of the significance of bees, their role in the natural balance, and their habitat needs is being strengthened and made accessible to everyone.
