Ukrainian beekeepers have begun harvesting their first honey

Ukrainian beekeepers have begun harvesting their first honey. Traditionally, honey collection starts in late May from garden flowers and some perennials. Prior to this, canola honey was gathered in certain regions. Due to inconsistent food sources and prolonged cold weather, some beekeepers are only preparing to collect honey from acacia, which started blooming intensively around May 20. Spring honey sales have begun appearing on social media, with prices ranging from 150 UAH per liter. Overall, there is hope for improved honey yields this year as weather conditions stabilize.
