As of May 10, 2026, orders are being accepted for bee packages (4-frame or 3+1) featuring 2025 queen bees from the Poltava region, Kremenchuk district, with prices negotiable for self-pickup. A new organic beekeeping operation has recently opened in Odesa.

Organic beekeeping in Ukraine began to emerge nearly a decade ago, with 56 such hives reported last year. These operations face stricter requirements than conventional beekeeping, as hives must be located within a three-kilometer radius of predominantly organic fields and wild plants to meet organic production standards. Despite the ongoing war, new organic hives continue to open in Ukraine, according to SEEDS.
