Manchester bee-themed business stunned after 3,000 bees appear on their doorstep within an hour

The owners of an Oldham-based fragrance company, inspired by Manchester's worker bee symbol, were surprised when approximately 3,000 bees appeared outside their shop in under an hour.

Ashleigh and James Bullows, who founded Organico, arrived at their workplace around 9am on June 15, finding no bees. However, upon returning to the basement entrance at 10am, they discovered a large swarm of honeybees gathered above the doorway.

The bees clustered directly above the padlock to their stockroom, halting business operations temporarily.

Ashleigh, 34, remarked, “There was nothing there at 9am, but when we returned at 10am, the hive was present."
