Women are making strides in beekeeping as Bedriye Bulut and her sister-in-law aim to increase their hive count in Tatvan. Five years ago, Bulut began beekeeping in Bitlis' Tatvan district to produce natural honey, and she has since expanded her hives from five to 100, inspiring her sister-in-law to join the venture. Bulut, a 34-year-old mother of two, started beekeeping after her husband became unable to work due to a traffic accident seven years ago.
