In Tatvan, Bedriye Bulut and her sister-in-law Gülay Olcaş have joined forces in beekeeping, aiming to expand their operation from 140 hives to 500. Bulut began her journey five years ago with just five hives after her husband became unable to work due to a traffic accident. Now, at 34 and a mother of two, she has increased her hives to 100 through training and dedication.

Inspired by Bulut's success, 33-year-old Olcaş initially assisted her before starting her own venture with two hives, supported by her husband. She has since grown her hives to 40 and collaborates with Bulut in production. Both women aim to increase their hives to 500 and diversify their offerings to include royal jelly, pollen, and propolis.
