A remarkable natural event occurred in the Subaşı neighborhood of Defne, Hatay, where thousands of honeybees entered a two-story house through a 1-centimeter gap in the roof, quickly forming a large swarm. Homeowner Ali Nurlu plans to donate the colony, which could number in the hundreds of thousands and shows no aggression, to local beekeepers in need. This unusual situation was noticed about five days ago, as the bees rapidly multiplied into a colony. They have created a visible mass on the roof without disturbing the residents. Experts indicate that such swarming typically occurs when a queen bee seeks a suitable location to establish a new colony.
