Queensland Holds Roundtable Discussion for Honey Bee Industry

The Crisafulli Government recently organized a roundtable focused on the honey bee industry to tackle the challenges posed by varroa mite and resistance to miticides. Experts, industry representatives, and government officials identified ten priority actions and planned further discussions for July 28. Honey bee pollination is crucial for crops valued at $12.9 billion annually, aligning with the government's goal to expand Queensland's primary industries to $30 billion by 2030.
