Maxant Industries produces the Continuous Spin Wax Separator Model 7000 in Devens, Massachusetts. The company is linked to Champlain Valley Apiaries in Vermont, founded by Charles Mraz in 1931. Mraz, an influential beekeeper, invented the fume board and promoted apitherapy in the U.S. His son, Bill Mraz, took over the apiary after Charles's retirement and was known for his inventive spirit, creating various beekeeping equipment, including an early Honey Wax Separator.
