On July 6, 2026, a new era in beekeeping commenced with the publication of a new regulation on bee venom collection in the Official Gazette. Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı stated that this regulation will enhance producers' incomes and boost Turkey's international competitiveness in apitherapy. The "Regulation on Bee Venom Collection," prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, has now come into effect.
