Mpigi Farmer Attributes PDM for Transforming Beekeeping into Profitable Business

A beekeeper from Mpigi District has praised the government's Parish Development Model (PDM), noting that the Shs1 million he received has evolved into a successful venture generating around Shs8.4 million annually. Alpha Kibuuka, a resident of Kituntu Sub-county, stated he received the PDM funds early last year and used them to expand his beekeeping operations. He has been passionate about beekeeping since childhood, starting with a single traditional beehive for family honey consumption.
