Bee rescuer endures multiple stings while relocating bees across Singapore.

Eugene Goh, 48, has been a volunteer with The Sundowner Bee Rescue since April 2022. He also manages volunteers and guides them through the bee relocation process. On a humid June afternoon, he was called to relocate a hive in a Compassvale block, where he set up a vacuum system to safely extract the bees. Goh, who runs a photography business, previously curated ant experiences at The Sundowner Nature Experience Centre.
