Mustafa Kara, a beekeeper from Beşikdüzü originally from Şalpazarı, was awakened by strange noises at night. Suspecting a burglary, he cautiously approached the source of the sound. Upon turning on the light, he discovered a bird he later identified online as a barn owl.

Describing his surprise, Kara said, "I heard noises while sleeping, as if someone was walking. I thought a burglar had entered, so I went to investigate. When I turned on the light, it came towards me. Naturally, I was excited; there was an owl in my house."
