The Odunpazarı Municipality has launched the Arıköy Project to support rural development and promote beekeeping through practical training. Located in Akpınar Mahallesi on a 35-acre site, the center offers both theoretical and hands-on education in areas such as botany, hive management, and honey production.

Collaborating with academics and professional organizations, the project provides a sustainable educational framework where participants work in groups under the guidance of experienced instructors. Each team is allocated a dedicated garden, shed, and empty hives to create a professional production environment. The products generated from the training are distributed to those in need via the Halk Market.
