Ahmet Bütün, living in Bingöl, began his beekeeping journey three years ago with two hives he found in the mountains. He has since expanded his operation to nearly 20 hives, utilizing a unique feeding method that involves bananas. In addition to beekeeping, Bütün cultivates various vegetables and fruits in his garden.

Bütün, who has resided in Bingöl since 1994, grows cherries, sour cherries, tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants. He started beekeeping by chance after bringing the two hives he discovered in the mountains to his garden. He claims that feeding his bees bananas has significantly contributed to their development.
