In an effort to support rural development and the sustainability of beekeeping, the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has implemented the "Fondan Bee Feed Support" project. This initiative aims to mitigate the negative impacts of climate change on beekeeping, distributing a total of 80,000 kilograms of fondant bee feed to 960 beekeepers across 25 districts. The program, managed by the Rural Services Department, seeks to strengthen agricultural and livestock activities in the capital, assist producers facing rising input costs, and ensure the continuity of beekeeping.
