Some people claim that bees are the new chickens, meaning that just as individuals with no farming background have started keeping chickens in their gardens, more are now venturing into beekeeping. There is no reason to fear bees or beekeeping, provided one has the necessary knowledge and practice. Fortunately, beekeeping associations in the region offer support.

The experts from these associations introduce interested individuals to the world of bees and honey production, making the transition to keeping a bee colony in one's garden much easier. For those hesitant to commit, the Aichach beekeeping association now offers the option to rent a bee colony. This initiative has helped reduce the apprehension surrounding personal beekeeping, benefiting nature in the process.
