The Chaco-based Cooperative of Beekeepers Ltd

The Chaco-based Cooperative of Beekeepers Ltd. (COPAP) celebrated International Cooperativism Day and its 21st anniversary with a Beekeeping Planning Workshop in Colonia Benítez. Co-organized with the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA PROAPI), the Association for Community Construction and Integral Development (ACCDI), Hub Apícola, and Impacto Verde, the event gathered both member and non-member producers to strategize on integrating beekeeping into regional economies within the wetland area. The day began with presentations on the results from the Organic Beekeeping Demonstration Unit (UDA) Don Remigio, a model project operating at INTA's Experimental Agricultural Station in Colonia Benítez. Technical reports indicated that the unit serves as a hub for applied research, rural extension, and practical training for local beekeepers, validating sustainable practices in wetland environments.
