Some people claim that bees are the new chickens, meaning that just as many who had no farming experience began keeping chickens, an increasing number are now trying their hand at beekeeping. There is no reason to fear bees or beekeeping, provided one has the necessary knowledge and practice. Fortunately, local beekeeping associations offer support.

These associations introduce interested individuals to the world of bees and honey production, making the transition to keeping a bee colony in one’s garden much easier. For those hesitant to commit, the Aichach Beekeeping Association now offers the option to rent a bee colony. This initiative is helping to reduce fears about beekeeping, benefiting both nature and the community.
