In Ardahan, a key agricultural product, the local flower honey has seen a significant influx of nectar this year due to favorable weather and vegetation conditions for beekeeping. Approximately 620 beekeepers from the Ardahan Beekeepers Association are preparing for harvest across around 35,000 hives in the region.

Recognized with a geographical indication by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, Ardahan flower honey is expected to yield high returns this season. Many beekeepers have implemented a third super to increase the honey storage capacity of their hives. The hives, placed in high-altitude pastures with rich flora during spring, have benefited from the favorable conditions, enhancing nectar flow.
