Kutik’s Farm to feature beehive tours during Saturday open farm event

OXFORD, N.Y. (WBNG) — Kutik’s Farm will celebrate Open Farm Day on Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., showcasing its beekeeping practices and farm facilities. Established in 1978 and with a retail front since 2018, the farm has experienced significant growth recently and aims to further educate the public about beekeeping.

The farm features ten operational beehives visible through glass, home to thousands of bees. Guided tours for groups of up to 20 will be offered, with beekeeper suits provided for participants. “There’s so much here that we’re doing that they should just come, take a look, walk around the gardens,” stated Alinne Vazquez-Slater, operations manager. A gazebo is available for visitors to relax outdoors.
