Bees support unique honey production at Arizona farms like Agritopia.

GILBERT, AZ (AZFamily) — Bees play a crucial role in pollinating crops in Arizona's orchards and community gardens, such as Agritopia Farm in Gilbert. This farm relies on these pollinators to ensure abundant harvests and thriving local food production in the desert, resulting in honey that reflects the state's seasons and native flora. Christy Davis, who manages the Arizona Urban Agriculture Foundation, noted that Agritopia spans 11.5 acres and cultivates over 45 varieties of fruits and vegetables year-round, emphasizing the importance of pollination alongside sunshine and irrigation.
