The honey production in Phong Nha, Nam Trach, and Thuong Trach (Quang Tri Province) has a rich history. However, beekeeping has traditionally been small-scale and based on experience, with honey primarily sold raw, limiting its economic potential. Recognizing the suitability of beekeeping to local conditions and its low investment and risk, local authorities are encouraging residents to form cooperatives to enhance production, access technology, and expand market reach.
