Mehmet Yiğit, President of the Adıyaman Beekeepers Union, stated that the set prices were established through consultations between the union management and producers, applying only to registered members. He emphasized Adıyaman's significance in honey production, noting its natural plateaus and rich vegetation make it a key beekeeping region in Turkey. Yiğit highlighted that the diverse flora contributes to high-quality honey production and that bees play a crucial role not just in honey production but also in agricultural productivity through pollination.
