The Nevşehir Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry is continuously conducting inspections of beehives to ensure that beekeeping activities are carried out healthily and are properly registered. Özgür Memiş, the Provincial Director, stated that these inspections, carried out by the technical staff of the Animal Health, Breeding, and Aquaculture Department, aim to ensure the sustainability of beekeeping, monitor the registered hive population, and enhance the effectiveness of beekeeping support programs. During these inspections, registered hives are examined on-site to assess their current conditions. Additionally, the accuracy of records is meticulously evaluated, and beekeepers receive information about the registration system, support applications, and best beekeeping practices.
