Honey harvesting has commenced in Elazığ, where 110,000 hives are contributing to the local economy. The Elazığ Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry marked the start of the honey harvest in Gözeli village, Sivrice district, at an apiary owned by Fırat Canbay, President of the Elazığ Beekeepers Association. Thanks to the region's rich flora and vegetation, Elazığ honey is produced at a high quality, making it a significant commercial product for the area.
