The Ankara beekeeping support initiative, which began in Kalecik, is advancing rural development across 25 districts. This project, led by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB), offers a 50% grant for beekeeping equipment, aiming to enhance local honey production capacity. Producers are eager to see the impact of this substantial funding on their operations.

ABB's Rural Services Department is launching a significant project to boost agricultural production. As part of its 2026 investment plans, the municipality will provide 5,000 modern hives to beekeepers. Eligible participants in the 25 districts will receive equipment with half of the costs covered by the local budget.
