In Solhan, 25 beehives owned by beekeeper and singer Yakup Koçak were destroyed in a fire, allegedly set intentionally by unknown individuals. The Bingöl Beekeepers Association has initiated a solidarity campaign to support Koçak, who suffered significant losses. Association President Mehmet Ali Aba has called on fellow beekeepers to contribute by donating a hive.

The fire, which occurred at Koçak's apiary, completely consumed the 25 hives and resulted in the death of numerous bees. The affected producer is urging authorities to quickly identify those responsible. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire and to confirm the arson claims through technical analysis.
