The Association of Beekeepers, Meliponiculturists, and Environmental Protectors of Guadalupe Huila (Ecoapigh) is collaborating with the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Alto Magdalena (CAM) and the Guadalupe Mayor's Office to enhance beekeeping as a sustainable production alternative in the municipality. This initiative aims to support 29 families by improving their productive activities while contributing to the conservation of native forests. The agreement includes an investment exceeding $182 million for providing hives, tools, technological equipment, protective kits, apiary setups, and training and technical assistance.
