The Uşak Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry conducted field studies in Ulubey district to enhance agricultural diversity and support local producers, focusing on "Gemlik Olive Adaptation Studies" and beekeeping activities. On July 31, 2026, Uşak Provincial Director Serkan Bilir, along with Deputy District Director Cihan Ayten and Aksaz Village Head Hüsamettin Demircan, visited Aksaz Village to assess a demonstration garden established last year to test local adaptability. Officials noted that there has not yet been a general distribution of seedlings in the district, but they are closely monitoring the growth of 87 Gemlik olive saplings planted on a 2-decare area.
