The Querétaro Municipality announced a 157% increase in beekeeping activities due to the Poliniza Querétaro program since its implementation. Currently, 37 beekeepers, mainly from Santa Rosa Jáuregui and Felipe Carrillo Puerto, benefit from support, training, and assistance aimed at enhancing honey production and hive conservation.

Yamil Olivier, the Secretary of Economic Development, highlighted the municipal administration's commitment to supporting the beekeeping sector through initiatives focused on pollinator conservation and producer assistance. He noted that honey production had decreased by over 96% from 1984 to 2019, but the introduction of the Beekeeping Law and the Poliniza Querétaro program has reversed this trend.
