A new honey season has commenced in Diyarbakır as of August 2, 2026. Cevat Yıldız has started producing high-quality honey in Diyarbakır and Elazığ. Honey production has begun in various rural areas of Diyarbakır, with Yıldız harvesting honey from his garden near the Diyarbakır Organized Industrial Zone. As a farmer and beekeeper, he noted that the honey harvest for 2026 has started.

Yıldız emphasized that he selects regions rich in floral diversity for honey production. This year, he has relocated his bees to the rural areas of Dicle in Diyarbakır and Maden in Elazığ, resulting in good honey yields due to the abundance of flowers, which has contributed to the production of high-quality honey.
