Elif Sambur, a graduate of Anadolu University’s Health Institutions Management and Business Faculty, began her beekeeping journey as a hobby. Seeking to pursue it more professionally, she applied to the Young Farmers Project in 2016, receiving a grant for 40 hives. Over time, she increased her production to nearly 100 hives, operating in Keşan and its surroundings, where she produces honey from blackthorn, canola, and sunflower, utilizing the area's plant diversity. To adapt to different production periods, she relocates her hives and also engages in pine honey production.
