Honoring National Honey Bee Day

National Honey Bee Day is observed on the third Saturday of August, which this year falls on August 15. In anticipation of this day, we honor the vital contributions of honey bees and beekeepers to California's agriculture. Beyond honey production, honey bees play a crucial role in pollinating crops essential to the state's agricultural economy. As we approach National Honey Bee Day, we recognize the importance of these pollinators and the beekeepers who support California's agricultural success.
