Abell Pest Control Hosts Art Contest for World Honey Bee Day

World Honey Bee Day is celebrated annually on the third Saturday of August, which this year is August 15. This day highlights the crucial role honey bees play in our ecosystem and honors the beekeepers who maintain healthy bee populations. Honey bees are essential for pollinating many fruits and vegetables, significantly impacting our food supply. To commemorate the occasion, Abell Pest Control organized an art contest, inviting both team members and the public to create original artwork inspired by honey bees. The contest received nearly 100 submissions from artists nationwide, including various mediums such as paintings, drawings, and photographs. Two winners were chosen: one from the public and another from Abell's employees and their families. A selection of the artwork is currently displayed at Abell's Toronto office, with the complete collection available in an online flipbook.
