Bee farm expands with new store in Kansas City's River Market area.

A new storefront for Messner Bee Farm is set to open in Kansas City's River Market. This will be the third location for the farm, which offers a variety of products including honey, lotions, lip balm, and more, all made from their honey and beeswax. The new shop will be located at 505 Walnut St. Owners Erik and Rachael Messner began their beekeeping journey after Erik sought local honey to alleviate his allergy symptoms, while Rachael was inspired by a homesteading book to take up beekeeping as a hobby that evolved into a business. Although the opening has not been officially announced, the storefront indicates it will be "coming soon." The company did not provide a comment regarding the opening date. Messner Bee Farm also operates a store in Lee’s Summit and a farm store in Raytown, with products available at Made In KC Marketplaces, Shop Local KC, and Queen Bee Boutique.
