Farm Bar Hosts Honey Fest to Benefit Brown Dog Farm's Pollinators

Farm Bar is hosting a Honey Fest from August 1 to 16, featuring a special menu crafted with honey from Brown Dog Farm in Wisconsin. At both Lakeview and Ravenswood locations, $1 from each menu item will support the farm's Conservancy. Guests can also make a $5 Adopt-a-Bee donation. I enjoyed a $75 tasting menu showcasing various honey-infused dishes, starting with cocktails that included this unique ingredient.

I began with the Johnny Bee Good cocktail, which combined gin, elderflower, Brown Dog Farm ginger honey syrup, and cider, offering a refreshing summer flavor. My friend opted for the Windy City Blues, a complex mix of Earl Grey-infused gin, blueberry-lavender honey, and other ingredients, best paired with dessert to avoid filling up too quickly.
