Beekeepers in Mut have commenced honey harvesting in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains, located at approximately 1700 meters above sea level. The expected honey yield for 2026 in the district is around 100 tons. Local beekeepers, with the assistance of their families and neighbors, have begun collecting mature honey from their hives.

Özkan Öz, a local beekeeper, noted that the favorable weather conditions have positively impacted the beekeeping season, expressing optimism for this year's harvest. He stated, "We have started our honey harvest by saying 'Bismillah.' May God grant all producer brothers a healthy, fruitful, and bountiful season."
