Beekeepers in Vienna Mark Successful Honey Production Year

A significant change has occurred in honey labeling: for blended honey, the countries of origin must now be specified in detail. Beekeepers in Vienna welcome this new regulation and are also celebrating a successful honey harvest this year.

Since mid-June, consumers can find more detailed information about honey origins on supermarket shelves. New regulations require that all countries of origin and their respective percentages be clearly listed on honey blend labels, replacing the previous requirement of simply indicating whether the honey was from the EU or not.
